Tremblay Family Mini Session | Utah Family Photographer

Last week, I wrote about how to prepare for a family session. This week, I want to share one of my favorite family sessions from Mini Sessions this past fall! They are a great example of how to prepare for a family session!

First off, Mini Sessions are amazing! If you book a mini session with me, you come to one location for 15 minutes, and get all the pictures you need! The “Grandma pictures”, couple shots, siblings, individuals, plus fun candid moments! These sessions are great for those who want amazing family pictures, but simply may not have the time or are worried about kids behaving for a longer period of time. Being a mom and a family photographer, I know that families have different needs when it comes to family pictures. Which is why I offer mini sessions a few times throughout the year! If you're not sure what your family needs, I created a Q&A to answer some common questions to help you decide what would be best for you and your family!

Now let's get to talking about this family's fantastic session! This is the Tremblay Family! Aren't they the cutest?! I had the funnest time getting to hang out with this family and take their pictures! The kids were great, the weather was perfect and the location was beautiful! Plus, their outfits were on point! They matched perfectly but weren't too “matchy-matchy” if you know what I mean. This mom did a fantastic job at picking out her family's outfits.

I gotta say, one of my favorite moments was right when the family showed up for their mini session. They got out of the car, and the dad realized he didn't have the right shoes! Haha! Lucky for him, his cousin's family did mini sessions with me right before them, and they wore the same size shoes! They swapped shoes for the next 15 minutes and had beautiful family pictures! You honestly can't even tell that they aren't his! But if you want to avoid bringing the wrong shoes, make sure you read this blog about how to prepare for your session. ;)

These photos were taken in Saratoga Springs at Loch Lomond Pond. Utah in the fall is absolutely gorgeous! And this Utah location was perfect to highlight the beginning of autumn. But really, it's a fantastic place to take pictures all year long. Loch Lomond Pond is one of my favorite places for Utah family photography. When you look at these family pictures, I'm sure you can see why.

I am so grateful for client referrals. This family came to me because of a client referral! This mama is a PA. While in school, she met some of her best friends! As a best friend, it's an unspoken rule to talk about who your family photographer is. I've been so lucky to take pictures of all three of these ladies families because of referrals. When your friends and family are looking for a photographer, don't be afraid to give them my information! Everyone should have quality family pictures. And as an experienced family photographer, I am happy to serve those in Utah! It is truly an honor to create and preserve these special memories for families.
